Power and Phone Backup

Our Wireless Gateway Module secures your home so that even if your property loses phone service or AC power it will communicate with our central monitoring station during an alarm via wireless technology and the system will still function properly for hours on battery backup. Urban Home Safety Check (fire preparedness, air quality, security recommendations)

Our priority is the safety and peace of mind of our community. More than just a security and alarm company, Urban Alarm will perform a 12 point safety check on your home that includes air quality, fire preparedness (e.g., fire extinguishers, escape routes, smoke detection), home security (e.g. door locks, key storage), and other factors that can have a significant impact on the safety and security of your home and the health of your family.

Medical monitoring (2 way voice)

Whether part of a whole house security system or a stand alone application, we provide the system and service to give you total peace of mind that your loved one will be taken care of in a time of immediate need. Our central station can respond to a emergency wrist button, pendant, or other event (e.g., no motion for a defined period of time) when you or your loved one is in need of assistance.

Appliance Safe(TM)

The kitchen and your appliances can be a source of water, electrical, and fire problems. Our Appliance Safe(TM) program monitors that your freezer stays frozen and closed, dish washers don’t leak, and your oven is turned off when you are away.

Door Entry Systems

Greeting guests and service people at your home should be safe and convenient. A video or voice door entry system will give you the total peace of mind you deserve as you greet and admit visitors. You can see who is at the door, discuss their purpose with 2-way voice, and open the door or gate from anywhere in the home.

Same Day Service Response Guarantee (in qualifying zip codes)

Your system is useless if it is not working. One of the biggest complaints we hear about security companies is their lack of prompt responsiveness. With that in mind, our guarantee is that for services calls received by 9AM on business days, you will see us the same day. For calls after 9AM you are guaranteed a visit the next business day (although we will strive to be there the same day, if possible). Should we fail to meet this guarantee, we'll waive our $85 service call fee.
